Dr Rachael Blyth BDS
Practice Director
Rachael graduated from Glasgow Dental school in 2003. She is passionate about delivering excellence in both general and cosmetic dentistry. Rachael has undertaken many hours of postgraduate training, including courses at the prestigious Dawson Institute UK. This has enabled her to glean extensive knowledge of new advances in technology and best practice. Rachael lives in Bridge of Allan with her husband and three young children. When she occasionally has some 'me time' Rachael enjoys reading, running, (completing her first marathon in October 2009) and skiing.
Abhishek Singh BDS MFDS RCPS MDS
Dentist
Abhishek has a wealth of experience in complex dental cases. From teaching at the Glasgow Dental Hospital, to studying implants and endodontics(root canal treatment to me and you) up to a Masters level, on a professional basis you could say he enjoys a good challenge! The benefit to you is an exceptional level of knowledge and skill leading to the ideal solution to your requirements. His interests are photography and gadgets. When not at work he will often be found teaching his two small children how to swing a golf club!
Kirsty Sharp
Dental Therapist and Hygienist
Kirsty graduated from Glasgow Dental Hospital and School in 2009 as a dual qualified hygienist/ therapist (DIP DHDT RCSED). Kirsty is our lead Hygienist and will run our routine maintenance book once she gets her feet established under the chair!
As part of her continuous personal development Kirsty attends various educational courses to ensure she continues to deliver the highest level of hygiene and therapy.
Kirsty lives in Stirling and loves shopping and aerobics.
Margaret Miller
Dental Nurse
Margaret has over 35 years experience as a dental assistant, who's dedication to her position is typified by her own motto - "Don’t worry- leave it with me!" Margaret is always looking for ways to improve the service we offer and will be your dedicated treatment coordinator. It is her job to make your visit to tooth+ as seamless as possible.
Margaret lives in Sauchie, loves cooking, aerobics and walking her dog. Although she's a mean multi-tasker not all of these pursuits happen at the same time.
Mhari Smith
Welcome Team/Receptionist
After teaching in China for a year, Mhari decided it was time to come back to wet and windy Scotland. As the receptionist at tooth+, Mhari makes sure your appointments are scheduled at a time that’s convenient for you and provides a welcoming smile and reassurance during your time in the surgery.
Mhari is also our front of house and is likely to be the first person you speak to when calling tooth+. Feel free to ask her anything and if she doesn’t know the answer herself then she does know someone who can. Go ahead she doesn’t bite!
In her spare time Mhari enjoys sewing and knitting under the alias Twisted Little Stitch - try saying that quickly...
Pauline Rodger
Business and Practice Manager
Pauline is a qualified lawyer and uses her commercial expertise and experience to manage the Practice. She is responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly at tooth+ and for leading and motivating our first class practice team.
Out-with the surgery Pauline enjoys live music, writing and singing loudly in the car with her young son, much to the irritation of fellow passengers and other motorists!
Ross Blyth
Development Director
Ross was a corporate lawyer for 18 years but says he's alright now. Responsible for the strategic direction of the business and its implementation, he likes to describe his role as that of the grandfather looking after the grandchildren - far more time to spend with the "new baby" or in this case new start business.
While he strives to keep Rachael in check, he has been known to lift the Hoover and even stretches to changing lightbulbs!
